On my prior laptop running outlook with Microsoft office – I was able to simply “get mail” and it downloaded to the laptop and automatically deleted off the server.

Now, if I go to the server and manually delete the emails, it also deletes the mail from the laptop How can I just “get mail” on the laptop, keep it there and have it remove from the server as with the prior laptop?
